Abstract

Fe3O4 nanospindles were synthesized through the hydrothermal method followed by thermal treatment. The composite of Fe3O4@SiO2 core–shell nanospindles was synthesized by the Stuber process via the hydrolysis of tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS) in the presence of Fe3O4 nanospindles. Palladium triazine‐bridged bisimidazolium pincer complex was successfully supported on Fe3O4@SiO2 core–shell nanospindles. The magnetic nanospindles‐supported palladium CNC-pincer complex was used as a practical and recyclable catalyst in the Mizoroki–Heck cross-coupling reaction and reduction of nitroarenes.
